Leaked, Unused H2 Trailer

Halloween 2 looks AMAZING!  Think I might actually have to go to the theater & get the bejesus scared out of me.  Rob Zombie should just be put in charge of the entire horror movie genre in general.  Also… snaps for super creepy use of a Moody Blues song.

I’m going to see the New York Dolls!

Just got my ticket to see the Dolls on 6/5.  I grew up with the NYDs playing in the background of my childhood, (Daddy was a fan), but have never seen them live.  So I’m excited… this will rate right up there with seeing the Ramones.  =)  And while it won’t be the same without Johnny Thunders & Arthur “Killer” Kane, I’m sure David Johansen & the boys will rock out hard.

There’s a great documentary on Arthur Kane that I caught on cable a year or two ago called “New York Doll”, natch.  It’s a really great film about the history of the dolls, Kane’s troubles, and subsequent perserverence over his battles with booze, drugs, & depression.  The film ultimately crescendoes with a reunion of the Dolls & a meaningful final performance for Kane, who passes away shortly after filming.  It’s a really great little movie.  I’ll probably end up watching it again in the next 2 weeks as I gear up for the show.

Now… I think I’m gonna go call my Dad & brag until he’s good and jealous.  =D

The Where The Wild Things Are movie looks great!  And if the movie is half as good as the tailer, the 5 yr old in me will be completely ecstatic.  *crosses fingers & toes*
